Automatic lot size calculation
By default, the DARK ALGO EA use automated money management. According to which the EA trades with a lot size of 0.01 for every 1000 units of your trading account. This risk management is configured in such a way that the maximum trading drawdown does not exceed 5% (typically, a maximum drawdown of 5% is the most common requirement for Prop trading).Â

If you want to use this bot on your personal account, then you can double the automatic trading risk.
If you want to increase the size of the automated trading lot, you need to change the value of the “N-Deposit units” variable. If you want to increase risk, you need to decrease the calculated value of this variable. If you want to reduce risk, you need to increase the calculated value of this variable.
For example, set the value to “500” and the trading lot size will increase every time your deposit increases by 500 units. That is, the profitability of the advisor will increase, but the trading drawdown will also increase.
If you set the value to “2000”, then the profitability will decrease and the trading drawdown will decrease.
- If you are using Dark Algo on a personal account, we recommend using the value “500”.
- For Prop Trading, use the value “1000” or “1500”.
