Download and unzip these zip files to your PC. If you do not have an archiver on your computer, use this free program – 7zip.
Installing North East Way EA
Attention. We will show installation examples on the MT5 platform. As for the MT4 platform, the installation procedure will be exactly the same as for the MT5 platform.
So, copy the North East Way MT5 EA file to the root directory of your MT5 platform. For this:
Click on the “File” tab in the internal menu of your MT5 platform and select “Open Data Folder”
Open the MQL5 folder
Copy the North East Way EA file to the “Experts” folder:
Restart your MT5 platform so that the EA file is initialized inside its directory.
Selection of assets for trading
The North East Way EA expert advisor trades on various assets, however, it works in one quote window.
In simple words, you need to install it on only one window of the quotes chart and it will start trading on different assets (you do not need to open the windows of these assets).
So, the main asset, on the window of which you need to install the North East Way EA advisor, is the AUDCAD currency pair. For this, Open the AUDCAD quote chart:
To do this, click on the “Overview” item in the internal menu of the platform and select “Market Watch”
Right-click on the list of assets and select “Show All”
Open the AUDCAD quote chart:
Set the timeframe M15 for the AUDCAD quotes chart window:
Enable “Algo Trading” button
Installation of North East Way EA quotes chart
Select the menu item “View” and the item “Navigator”
Drag and drop the North East Way EA onto open AUDCAD chart window. At the same time, after opening the settings window (after each drag and drop), set the automatic settings (from the “Set-files” folder that we sent you in the archive).
You are offered a choice of 3 set files that automatically configure the North East Way EA expert advisor for trading on various assets.
Available set files:

To load the automatic configuration file (set-file) click on the “Load” button:
Through the internal navigation of your PC, find the set files that you received in the archive with the product after purchase. Choose among these set-files the one that suits you best:
After you apply the set file and add the expert advisor to the quotes chart, the North East Way EA information board will appear and after a while this trading bot will start making trades.
Attention, the North East Way EA trading strategy is trading on large price jumps. Such moments do not appear very often on the quotes chart. Accordingly, the trading activity of this bot may be low on some days. Sometimes he can make just a few trades a week, and sometimes he will make many trades every day. Trading activity will depend on market volatility. The more volatility, the more trades North East Way EA will make.
So don’t be alarmed if this bot doesn’t make trades for a while. He is waiting for the necessary conditions for trading!
